Yes! We are family friendly. Check with our property manager concierge for arranging additional kid-friendly amenities.
Our Rossie Hill townhome is fully family-ready, and centrally located, allowing you to maximize your vacation hours by quickly walking and/or accessing public transit to the resorts, local attractions, shops, and restaurants. This convenience minimizes travel time and leads to a more relaxed and flexible itinerary, enabling spontaneous plans with easier coordination for daily activities, ultimately creating a more enjoyable and less stressful family trip.
The most immediate advantage are the common living areas and a full kitchen for cost-effective, family-style meals. Furthermore, there's a sense of togetherness and shared experience that a multi-room townhome provides over separate hotel room stays.
Our townhome has a stock of children's games, books, puzzles, snow sleds, dinner and drink ware, etc.
Our location on historic Rossie Hill is quiet, safe, and backs up to explorable green space, which is ideal for spontaneous backyard sledding in the winter.
Deer Valley and the greater Park City area offer a tremendous amount of family fun, both on and off the slopes, and across all seasons.
While Deer Valley is famous as a skiers-only resort (no snowboarding allowed), the activities and amenities cater specifically to families looking for a high-end, friendly, and memorable vacation.
Our Lower Deer Valley townhome is well equipped with generously-sized accommodations for families looking for a centrally-located base for adventure.
For extra gear, contact our property manager concierge services team who can arrange a whole assortment of family-friendly upgrades, including ski-rentals, groceries, play-pens, high-chairs, etc.
Both Deer Valley Resort and Park City Mountain Resort offer excellent family ski school options, but with different focuses. Deer Valley and their 'green-team' staff provides a more upscale, ski-only experience with highly-regarded children's programs like the Fawn Special (age 3) and Adventure Club (ages 7-12), emphasizing personalized attention, very small group sizes, and a combination of ski time with dedicated indoor childcare facilities for younger kids. Book reservations in advance as they do fill up.
Meanwhile, Park City Mountain Resort, which allows both skiing and snowboarding, offers a wide variety of lessons through its Ski & Snowboard School, including full-day group lessons for both sports and specialized programs like the Ultimate 4 for young children (ages 4-6) and the All Terrain Program for older kids, providing access to a vast and diverse terrain. In short, Deer Valley is typically viewed as a premier, ski-focused experience with smaller class sizes, while Park City offers a broader range of options for both skiers and snowboarders on a massive mountain.
